Dehydration due to:

When to start taking Hydralyte.
Hydralyte may be taken on the first signs of fluid loss due to vomiting and diarrhoea. Hydralyte may also be taken to help manage dehydration caused by heavy sweating, vigorous exercise, excess alcohol consumption, or due to a hot or dry environment.
Signs of mild dehydration.
Sticky or dry mouth, increased thirst, lethargy, decreased urine output, dark yellow urine.
Suitable for use during pregnancy.
Contains
Active: Sodium Chloride 2.5mg/mL, Potassium Citrate (Monohydrate) 2.2mg/mL, Citric Acid Monohydrate 4.8mg/mL, Glucose (Monohydrate) 16 mg/mL.
Contains: 0.86mg/mL Potassium, 1.06mg/mL Sodium. Purified Water, Natural Flavour, Sucralose, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate.
Directions
Do not dilute. Sip slowly.
Usage: Recommended dosage for dehydration due to vomiting and diarrhoea.
Age in years: Under 12 months, Recommended dosage: 100mL every 90 mins, Max. dosage per day: 1000mL.
Age in years: 1-3 years, Recommended dosage: 100mL every 90 mins, Max. dosage per day: 1400mL.
Age in years: 3-6 years, Recommended dosage: 100mL every 60 mins, Max. dosage per day: 2000mL.
Age in years: 6-12 years, Recommended dosage: 100mL every 30 mins, Max. dosage per day: 2600mL.
Age in years: 12- Adult, Recommended dosage: 200mL every 30 mins, Max. dosage per day: 4000mL.
Dehydration due to other causes.
Drink Hydralyte when thirsty or exhibiting the signs of dehydration.
If signs of dehydration persist, consult your healthcare professional.

Seek medical advice if vomiting or diarrhoea persists for more than:
– 6 hours in infants under 6 months.
– 12 hours in children 6 months – 3 years.
– 24 hours in children aged 3 – 6 years.
– 48 hours in children over 6 years & adults.
Be aware that Dehydration due to vomiting or diarrhoea can be dangerous in babies and children under 5 years old and in elderly people.

Storage Instructions
Refrigerate after opening and discard after 1 month.
